America, America, from sea to shining shore (lyrics?)
So we had our interviews at the US embassy this morning. We got there about ten to ten and left about ten past twelve. It was a fair wait but it was alright. They were quite organized and the guy behind the window pronounced Sameer's name correctly - "SameeR" not "Sameeye". The passports will be DHLed to us on Wednesday morning so by then we should know whether we have our visas or not. Fingers crossed!

Did you guys go through to the consulate in constantia/silversomething? The significant other's extended family came down just to see them here, cos they're faster than the pretoria ones! well, from discussions, I think that there was family politicis involved as well ... but let's got with speedy services as the reason! (remember the hectic phonecalls from us sometime ago as to where exactly this consulate is?)
So, now it's just the french one still, and the countdown? You (pl) are all organized for the ski trip?
